Introducing the line up of counselors for
the 2008 camp season...

Brandy Lemke
Brandy has been a student and camper at Almost Heaven Stables on
and off for 7 years... She is home schooled and works part-time
at the stable cleaning so that she can earn the money to provide
for five horses... She is about to take in her first outside
client, to saddle break their 3 year old horse...

Erin Peterson
Erin has been a student and camper at Almost Heaven
Stables for the past three years... She did a wonderful job
as assistant counselor for the 2007 camps and will be
returning again in her same position... |

Hillary Hamilton
Hillary has been a student and regular camper for three
years... She is the proud owner of three horses... She is
also an awesome dog trainer... She will be working side by
side with Brandy in 2008 as co-head counselor... |

Summer Moseley
Summer is my granddaughter and has been riding her own
horses since she was 3... She owns 2 horses and loves to run
barrels... She will be an assistant counselor...

2007 - Summer Camp #2 - Chore Time |
|
|
|
|
The camp program we offer allows the children to experience
the true meaning of horse ownership.
We are a totally working camp.
In addition to their riding lessons, campers are taught stable management
skills. |

|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
They include grooming, bathing, tack care, horse anatomy
and paddock cleaning. We try to teach as much as possible in the five
days that they are here. Not to mention that our focus is on fun,
fun, fun! In the afternoons, our main goal is to stay cool by taking
a dip in the swimming pool. |

All summer camps are a combination of day and overnight campers.
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis requiring a
50% non-refundable deposit. We only take 8 children per camp.
We highly recommend choosing your dates and making your reservations early. |

Day camp hours are from
8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Thursday;
8:30 am - 11:30 am on Friday.
No supervision available for early drop-offs or late pick-ups. The cost is $150.00 per child. Day campers bring their own lunch and
beverages. They will also need their bathing suit, towel, water
bottle and helmet. |

Overnight campers stay from Monday at 8:00 am
until 11:30 am Friday. No supervision available for early drop-offs or
late pick-ups.
The cost is $300.00 per child. Overnight campers need to
bring all clothing, toiletries, towels, a twin size fitted
sheet, plus sleeping bag or appropriate bedding to go with the
twin fitted sheet, pillow, dirty clothes bag, bathing suit,
water bottle, umbrella, helmet and a minimum of $40 spending
money.
NO CELL PHONES WILL BE ALLOWED

Please pack
items in a bag or suitcase that will slide under a twin bed. We have
the new bunkhouse complete and it is filled first. The old bunkhouse
has been renovated and is ready to sleep 4 in case the new bunkhouse is
filled.
